Controllers with the exact same layout for PS3 and Xbox 360

I have a few!

- Will you be able to buy new cables/modules sepereately from the controller if necessary?
- Are the buttons identical on both the PS3 and 360 versions (besides appearance)?
- Will there be any new d-pad/analog "modules" available once the MLG pads launch?
- When will they be available for purchase? And will they be available in Canada? :D

Yes, you can buy new ProCables/ProModules if needed. This was a key point in creating the controller. There is wear and tear and there is no way you can avoid that; especially with how much gamers play/put time into their game play. Giving the consumer the option to start back from scratch with a new analog stick/D-Pad without having to buy a whole new controller; I think that in itself is something to be appreciated.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers are pretty much identical; form factor-wise and from a mechanical standpoint.

Yes, we will always be looking to develop new style ProModules.

The controller will be available in Canada yes. No word yet on when.

Is the xbox dpad floating or not? Picture makes it look like no, but since it's suppose to replicate xbox pad I figured I would ask.

The stock Xbox 360 style ProModule D-Pad is not a floating D-Pad, however we do have a floating D-Pad ProModule to be made available separately.

Since I've heard you guyz are using membrane for the face buttons; will there be plans on making them with micro-switches as an expensive alternative?

The reason for using membrane buttons is to have a common button between both systems. As you know the PlayStation 3 controller has analog face buttons, for that reason; we did not want to introduce micro-switch buttons and kill potential use of the controller with some titles.

hows the fps crowd taken to the controller, so far? I know it was at a recent mlg event and they originally were very skeptic about them when they were announced.
