Which is the Best Fighting Game Except Soul Calibur?

I guess I'm the only one who liked killer instinct. I grew up playing MK, MKII, SFII, Tekken and SC. I played the first VF and was not very impressed with it when it was in the arcade. Soul Calibur has pretty much ruined all the 2-d fighters for me.

KI on SNES was my first fighting game. I can't wait for KI3, but I think there might be licensing issues between Microsoft and Nintendo.

No, I loved Killer Instinct. C-C-C-Combo Breaker all day, dawgy...

I'm still praying it's not just a rumor Rare is making a Killer Instinct for 360.
