Be afraid of what you wish for...

i agree that there are too many releases right now for all platforms.

im playing dead space right now and it's awesome. but im still looking at my far cry 2, fallout 3, red alert 3 boxes at the same time....only looking though.

I fail to understand how not allowing 2d games onto the ps2 for 3 years can possibly be interpreted as not having problems with 2d games. It appears to me that the person who can't possibly be wrong is you...

I'm not out to get you, I just don't have a high tolerance for things that are downright wrong. You just happen to post a lot of them.

Damn. You caught me. Who was I trying to fool anyway, right? I'm never right about anything.

I always mislead people with false information and hope they believe it so I can laugh at them, and call them idiots afterward. I thought I had the perfect crime planned out! It would have been..if it wasn't for you meddling kids.

Back on track--this just begs the question that when the market becomes so saturated with new releases (albeit quality ones) it inevitably has to hit a wall--namely finite gamer $ financial resources. I've never seen a period like this before with so many AAA or near AAA titles coming out in such a short space of time. How can this make business sense? I understand that they want to release in time for the holidays, but still this ridiculous glut has to influence sales--no? If I didn't use gamefly than there's no way I'd be able to buy all these games. I have a feeling that these 07 last quarter releases are going to continue to sell well into the first quarter of 08 b/c no one w/ any semblance of a real life can keep up.

As it stands, I'm mightily struggling:

Deadspace, chapter VI just met up w/Leviathan
Fable II, Reaver just joined the party
Saint's Row II, almost wiped out the Ronin's (I think)
Brothers In Arms HH (Chapter III, killing Nazis in some factory)
Silent Hill Homecoming, completed
SCIV--no friggin practice time--squeezing in some play against the AI but no online grrrr..! Almost completed all achievements.

After this wave will move on to (probably in December-January):

FO III
Left For Dead
Gears II
Mirrors Edge
Legendary (dunno?)

If I can pull this off w/out losing my job, my girlfriend and having my kids turn into derelicts than I should get some sort of 360 live achievement-- something like "Village Idiot" (50 pts) You're a life long gamer, but still haven't mastered the skill of keeping milk in the fridge for your kids breakfast" doh!

got the demo for mirros edge last night. for some reson the graphics remind me of jet set radio future. but it was pretty fun will definetly have to pick that up

also....demo for the new tomb raider is out. got that to. i thinks its more of the same old tomb raider. looks beautiful though.

After playing the Mirror's Edge demo, it's safe to say that game is on my radar now. I wasn't all too enthralled by it, but after playing the demo I might just pick it up (soundtrack is pretty cool too). Hell, I STILL need to actually BUY Dead Space.

Fallout 3 hasn't grabbed me, though. I went to the midnight launch at Best Buy in Rockville MD, got a chance to see the creators from Bethesda, and got a chance to play a good bit of the game on the 360 displays there. Nothing about it really caught my eye. Then again, I also heard the PS3 version got shafted (which doesn't surprise me...argh) so if I were to get it, I'd be getting an inferior version. So forget it.

This might be the first time in years that I'm going to actually make a X-mas list.
