Let's not turn this into a comparison thread.

I'm still firmly planted in the 'Aion will not get 3 months of my money' category. The main draw is it's 'AMAZING PVP' experience which is a full time job, not a game.
You grind for hours a day to stay ahead of the other no-life, mouth breathing mindless grinders so that you can be VOLTRON for a while until someone surpasses you in Abyss Points.
I'd also like to state that 'high end' pvp on the ladder doesn't actually involve pvp as the risk of dying and losing Abyss Points is far greater than the small amount you'd gain by actually killing another player so you end up grinding on the opposing factions guards and running like a woman everytime you see another real player. (Have I already said this?)
Aion will be a fun, VERY TEMPORARY distraction, nothing more.
