To think with a corporate brain ( Y U NURF MAI GAEM!!? )

How qualitative. I guess you could try to say that clearly Android is a higher quality product since it doesn't have the suggested quality decay of iOS or Windows Mobile. Oh @#$!. I just realized that the Blue Screen of Death was actually just a way to sell future copies of Windows 7! Why...

To think with a corporate brain ( Y U NURF MAI GAEM!!? )

Oye como va.... Sure, games have durability. The take-away was that they don't have durability like a toothbrush. Average cell phone expected lifespan: 90 days. Then you buy a new one. Instant cyclical tangible product market that only goes forward. No one will go back to using Motorola...

I don't think I understood you the first time. I thought you were saying that BlazBlue was the same game repackaged over and over with *no* changes. I haven't bought Extend, either, for all of the same reasons you listed. :\ Ya, that still doesn't make sense. Software entertainment products...

You have no idea how bad Yoshimitsu is now. I'm sellinz mah gamez! lolwut? You don't play BlazBlue at all, do you? There were significant changes to characters and also to mechanics. Age old things like wall bounces went away and that weird knockback spin thing made Tsubaki pretty damn...

To think with a corporate brain ( Y U NURF MAI GAEM!!? )

I like video game forums. Everyone tries to say that patches come from thin air purely intentionally to destroy a game. They also try to say that they somehow have better insight than the original designers and developers. The mirror-world version of this post (the world that I live in)...

    BattleField 3

I would rather have them all sunbathing (read: sniping) than destroying our helicopter. ..... I'm actually a good pilot that has everything unlocked and can (usually) keep the thing in the air for more than 4 seconds..... Friendly C4 on my windshield doesn't usually help.

    BattleField 3

It has it's moments.... Even with randoms, you can usually find one or two people that are really trying to be a team. Or you can just follow other people around helping (remember: teamwork doesn't mean everyone follows you). Most of the time, the teamwork really gets messed up when everyone...

    Possible hidden treasures?!!! Please read!

    It's the joke weapon. It isn't serpents - it's fish. Or I think it's fish. I dunno. Here's the thumbnail view: http://i42.tinypic.com/333v7yv.jpg

BF3 patch news if anyone still plays it. :) I might jump back on the 360 version if the changes listed here are as good as I think they are. http://www.el33tonline.com/past/2012/2/23/massive_list_of_confirmed_battlefield/

Coming from SSF4AE - need help with mechanics

Can't tell if troll........ 2D fighters are generally high/low/overhead. Normal attacks are a completely different term. Soul Calibur has similar terms in high/low/mid (mid being your overhead). There are additional moves with special properties that change the way they need to be guarded...

    New to fighting games

Keep in mind that the AI is kind cheating. It knows exactly what you're pressing and uses some stateful stuff to hit you. For example, you'll sometimes notice you'll get hit while still in the block animation. Really, you're being hit the exact instant you release guard. Computer mix-ups are...

online and offline play...? (still new to this lol)

The game runs at 60 frames per second. That is a "frame" ~ 1/60th of a second. In all modern fighters, people will make lists of frame data that include specific information about a move in the game. It might feel like they're able to predict you because they're using their knowledge of...

online and offline play...? (still new to this lol)

Just like any other game, online play has some oddities. They don't happen nearly as often as SCIV, but SCV does have it's occasional "wtf" moment that would never happen offline. Some moves "feel" much different in execution as far as juggles and just frames, etc. A lot of people refuse to...

If you turn off the WYSIWYG editor thingie in your account options it will work in the Android browser. I post from my phone and Kindle Fire pretty often, but it does *NOT* work with the default editor enabled.
