Yeah, I thought about it being mine. But in the arcades the whole score thing is tallied from the winner, just like in SF3.

Actually, it'll give you a winner and a loser screen on a split cabinet. (It even puts "winner" or "loser" on top of the tally to further minimize confusion.)
