Well MGS itself is big name, but Rising is Platinum so underrated by default, even rare times they sell well they should have sold twice :D

Platinum are very high in the rankings of games/SH/systems that sell way less than they deserve... even before they was called Platinum
VG market is ruled by douchebags moneys, and as much i don't like the direction VG are taking, to be fair it was a problem even years ago, just think the sales of jewels like GodHand or Okami
VG history has ever be unfair

The fact itself that i pushed in future buy PS4 because i have to get a WiiU is sad
And WiiU sell poor is even more sad
For the gamers my ass, Sony is in full "try to win 360's dudebros hearts" start-gen battle with MS, it will pass a atleast year before they start do really what they promise (and no, random indies to make feel good internet's hipsters it's not).

Platinum -and to a lesser extent Atlus, Akira (lol), and Spike- are the only parts of classic Capcom that still exist. I think the fact that Nintendo was the only publisher interested in their work says a lot about the current state of the video game industry. As you said, it's all about chasing the American FUCK YEAH DONTE audience. Same thing that happened with Square and Nintendo buying Monolith Soft.

Platinum games is one of my FAVORITE game developers!! =3

They make badass games like Anarchy Reigns, Bayonetta, Vanquish, MG Rising, and MadWorld. It sucks they're limiting their business to Nintendo, because they're killing themselves!!!

Wonderful-101 on the Wii-U only sold about 100,000+ units, that's horrible sales! They should have cross-console ported it. Now they're wasting their time making Bayonetta 2 exclusive for the Wii-U, it's going to sell like crap, everyone knows it... All those Xbox and Sony owners who can't buy or play it now even if they wanted to...... -__-;;;

Honestly i think it was a better idea for platinum to be with nintendo because while i love sonic games, THATS ALL SEGA SEEMS TO BE INTERESTED IN. THEY WOULDNT EVEN SHOW ANY INTEREST IN BAYONETTA 2. If they stuck with sega like they were before. the game wouldnt exist. Sega has a whole backcatalog of series they could give another chance, BUT THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANY OF THEM AT ALL . So why would they care? If nintendo wouldn't publish bayonetta 2, i don't think the game would even EXIST. (So thank god theybare)
And it could've been worse too..... What if they were with activision? Or worse...... *gulp*.........EA.....
