Finally 100%-ed a combo challenge. It was Momiji. My god, do your fingers have to do some gymnastics with her. Also, her DJ-P finishers are retarded on the later combos, where you have to hit them at just the right height... still, my new favorite ninja after 'Busa.

I just found out Jackie has an auto-parry for jabs? I entered training mode with a friend, did some basic combos, then Jackie countered me.. I was like "Hey! Did you do that...?" Huh?! Then I realized Jack auto-counters high jabs.

Well here's something hilarious, if you see a Jacky stand still make sure to run up and grab. You'll get a hi counter throw out of it

but i don't understand the difference between the blue challengers and the red ones.

After a while of playing this, it seems to me that they are player indicators. Blue means you're on 1P side and red means you're on 2P side.
I could be wrong, but every time red showed up (and it wasn't "the other player cannot fight at this time" urrgh) I was on 2P side.

ed. Also, red seems to always start immediately, while blue takes a while (or may not start at all). I think it has something to do with being the host or not.

Being a cautious player means you're vulnerable to balls-out fullscreen run-up throw. Ridiculous >:[
