I just started and i keep hearing this phrase. So Now I gotta look this up, but before I do let me say, it sounds so much like something from a shonen anime.

magic is a race to win, thats why the "power nine" is sooo powerful. with them you can easily win on turn 1, even through counterspells.

Speaking of magic the gathering:
How many Magic players does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Three - one to screw in the bulb, and the other two to tell him how to do it three turns faster.
