What keeps you watching THAT anime?

So what kind of anime do you like? Or are you just trolling your own site like a moron?
Walls of text. Spoiler to be considerate.

Jaxel probably watches anime like Cross game. On the animation side its simple and retro, but the story, characters are well done. And the only reason why I went out to watch it was because I heard rumors about it being good and wanted to see the reason and Page recommended it to me(which I'm grateful). At first I was like meh they're blowing hot air. But after watching Cross Game, I won't say anything like Chobits(favorite because of Chi) is better than Cross game in terms of the whole package.

I could easily say that Cross Game story and all pwns a typical mediocre fanservicey romance anime that was derived from an eroge times a million. You can try to say Clannad which I did love or so, but Cross game made sure to keep it mellow and wrap up everything nicely without confusing me as much.

I was proved wrong(since I have a trolling inquisitive nature) and was pouting. But ironically, I was more amazed and wowed by how beautiful they make every character improve and evolve. I mean, they make even a non-important character relevant as well. So I let it slide and forgot it; since the 50 episodes on Cross game were all worth my time. No ecchi, no fillers, just consistent story and development.

The romance may not be around as much like those typical romance fanservicey anime, but I honestly will say that it's way better. Hell, the story made me want Tsukishima Aoba in a pure puppy feeling way and not I want this chick cuz she's sexy from most animes I watch. It also gave me a feeling to cheer on characters you wouldn't think you'd cheer for. Like that spoiled haughty girl trying to get into a fashion thing or some sort(been awhile since I've seen Cross Game).

Initially, not many people list Cross Game because they prefer ecchi and the typical stuff(of course I'm one of them). .

Aside from that when I watch anime, I only like certain segments and parts. Like Goldenboy was just watched for the comedy. The story? Well, its as deep as SCIV's story mode. Guy does this and this happens. The end. I'm not into anime as much these days because I'm lazy. But should I get into watching anime mode, I usually whip out the one calling to my feeling. If it's interesting with good plot and story or the typical fanservicy anime that I can predict, I'll watch it.

Anyways, to stay on topic.

After you watch this clip, I would say Ko is unintentionally manlier than say......those typical spineless romance male leads. Don't believe me? Go watch Cross Game yourself. It's one of those animes where every moment counts imho.
