also, this tidbit. in uncharted 3 in the bar fight scene in the beginning, there is a newspaper dealing with outbreaks and diseases.. could this be tied to the uncharted universe and actually have a Drake cameo?

The PS3 gets a pretty good looking game then mine breaks. Go figure.

I wouldn't right this off as "another zombie game." It has a bit more depth than that. The enemies you saw were infected, but they're not zombies. Zombies are dead and seeing how those things can react to pain (like when the girl stabbed one) suggests they're alive. The whole senario is based on the cordyceps fungus. The fungus has been known to infect insects and is literally able to control their behavior. This game suggests that the fungus has begun to infect humans and changed their behavior into something similar to that of a rabid animal. This video talks more about it (a section of it was even used in the teaser.)

yeah i saw that video before. I'm not saying they're zombies. I'm saying it's a zombie like game. what's also interesting to note is that the fungus in the video does indeed kill its victims. that said. you're right in that they're not zombies. but this is a zombie like game. that last shot reminds me of I am Legend. which isn't a zombie movie but parallels can be drawn between this game and that movie/book.

Shrug... I perceive it to be fallout with zombies. Which means I'll probably play it. A lot.

I can see some stuff that will be in gameplay already... fungal zombies, human survivors as adversaries, looting bullets from them. Exploration. If it shapes up as expected it should do well for itself.

Now what's shocking is that this game's production had nothing to do with Ellen Page...

What's the line between an homage and theft? And at what point do they lose the right to claim no intentional resemblance to any persons living or dead?
