KFC, etc don't "turn" animals into goods, they are goods. Specifically, anything which can legally be bought and solid is a good.
Some people might take offense to what I'm about to say, but people who claim to be vegan the way you do really piss me off. Being vegan does nothing to solve to problem; it just means that you're not going to eat the meat. Refusing to ignore the problem makes you no different than the ones who cause it. The only difference is that you're being sentimental about it. Animals are still used as meat regardless on whether or ot you change your diet.So...feel like making a legit post. I'm a vegitarian, have been for 3 maybe 3 and a half years. Haven't had meat at all. My girlfriend is also a vegitarian, her because she saw a video like this. I personally didn't feel right about it after knowing what had happened. Not because we're killing animals, a little because we're killing them in an infantile state(but then again predators do it all the time, fuck survivorman killed a young coastal bird on a pacific island), but mostly because the fact that this is such a massive industry. Seems silly to me. I mean think of all the money that pours in for these people to harshly kill another animal without much care, dip it in greese and oil, cover it in cheese, smoosh it between two buns, then chuck it through your car window in a paper bag? Silly.
I've helped friends ready up gear for hunting trips, shop for equipment, and I've gone on trips where they went hunting. I didn't go off with the group myself because I wouldn't actually eat what I killed meaning it would basically be a total waste of a life, and two because I couldn't actually bring myself to kill an animal unless circumstances were dire. Didn't stop me from preparing the food with them either. They killed an animal in a way my own bias moral compass deemed correct, and I support it. Especially since one of my friend's dad tries to only go shopping for meat once a month; the rest is food he hunts. Good man.
