What are the "Must Own" games of PS2?

Grandia Xtreme is the worst one of them all, I couldn't stand that game, it almost made me microwave it after playing Grandia and Grandia 2, so I guess to me Grandia 3 was an uplift from that crap lol, but i hated every character in that game too. ANd we got that god awful pop song for our main theme, like worse than FF X-2 pop songs

You should be commenting on his choice of the PS2 Arc the Lad games... Arc the Lad is awesome, on the PS1... the PS2 iterations are just horrid. How do you have a game called Arc the Lad, that takes place 1000 years after he's dead?!

And Tales of Legendia may not be the best in the series (that goes to Phantasia), but it was way better than Tales of the Abyss.

I played the Arc the Lad Collection on PS1, and it was one of the best investments I made on a PS1 game/games. I avoided the PS2 versions, because they looked like shit. That is why I didn't comment on them.

As for Tales of Legendia, I think it was excellent. The battle system was a little flawed, but besides that I can't find fault with it. The environments, for the most part, were nice. The story was great. It started off being funny and lighthearted, but it gets very dark as you get deeper in the game. The music is simply beautiful. Tales of Legendia has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard in a game. It was the first Tales game I have ever played, and it is the only one that I consider memorable.
