What are the "Must Own" games of PS2?

um tales of symphonia on gamecube was great. legendia...not so much so. i honestly grew to hate those little loud hopping creatures sooooooo much that it finally cut to them one too many times and i gave up on playing it.
 
Anyone else here have any love for the Ace Combat series? AC4 was tight, but I loved the squad-based stuff of AC5. It was like Top Gun for my PS2.

The Ace Combat series is amazing. I'm one of the apparently few people that thinks Zero is the best in the series.
 
I was talking specifically for PS2 at the point of Arc the Lad, the PS2 Arc the Lad games are not good lol, not at all.

and LEgendia is the worst Tales game i've ever played, Abyss is MUCH better than LEgendia as is every other Tales game that will probably ever come to be.
