Not to get too political but I love that conservative double standard. So not agreeing with bush policies was "hating America", and I should respect the commander in chief... But as soon as a democrat's in office suddenly its okay to second-guess policies and actively HATE the president...

Regardless of a person's politicalbend...politics really grinds a lot of peoples gears.
I was at the Cracker Barrel getting ready to eat breakfast when a couple started yelling at me while their son glared threateningly. I was wearing a shirt with an American flag and the caption: Evil Empire. The couple were Veteran's of the first Gulf War. They yelled the typical "love it or leave it" mantra, interrupting mine and many other diner's meals. All I could say was thanks for fighting for my freedom to not say what you disagree with. They continued heckling. I asked if they feel like they've been taken care of as well as the contractor's and other private entities that aid in war. "Nope, fighting the VA every step of the way for even basic treatment" they said. I told them if they don't like it they should leave.
