Well, I'd rather not go and write a novel here about my life, but the short of it is that I've had some pretty serious health problems for the past several years. My kidneys shut down and I had a transplant after some years of dialysis. Things have improved, but it can still be difficult from time to time. I'm sure that there're others here that have seen family members go through something similar and know how much it sucks. That's kind of the major thing that defines me I suppose. It's shaped my beliefs and how I treat others. I'd say I'm an avid gaming, music and literature fan. That's pretty much it about me.

Well, coincidentally my mother had kidney problems and I was worried for her health ever since I was seven, so I can feel your pain. It was tough for my mother, but she was a true warrior because she did her best to make meals, fix my clothes, and flat out did what every good mother could do.
I thank god that she had a successful kidney transplant on Febuary 14th 2004. Now every Valentine's I make sure I tell my mom I love her despite me being very affectionate to my mom unconditionally haha.
Anyways, I'd like to say I'm glad you're okay and still kicking. It's also kinda cool you're a literature, music, and gaming fan. Regarding music, what do you listen to?

That's really cool that your mom had a transplant on Valentine's Day. Glad to hear she's doing well. Mine was April Fools Day, and several people thought I was pulling an elaborate joke.
As far as music goes, I try to keep an open mind towards things. It's mostly metal and typical hipster indie stuff with a dash of IDM, rap, and whatever else I can find. I've got a last.fm account, so if you want to see exactly what I listen to, it's http://www.last.fm/user/damilesman.
