Worst Gameplay Mechanics

Probably not a gameplay mechanic, but a pretty nasty oversight and yet, strangely vital.

In Ao no kiseki, the ease in which it was possible to abuse the agility stat and become near-invincible. But incredibly important in doing so to survive some of the toughest bosses in the game to get a perfect D-rank. Its probably a minor quibble to an otherwise excellent game, but I suppose more players would complain about physical attacks being completely worthless by chapter 3.

Heard a lot of CoD hating in the beginning. Halo as well; how can you talk shit about a game, but not say how & why? I'm not really trying to defend these 2 games, but it doesn't make sense to talk shit about them either & not provide any reasons why. I also have a strong feeling that even if I do continue to ask why to some body who does respond, they'll be left to say only one thing. "It's just because" lol

As for my thoughts, It's kind of hard to say. Pretty much all games were good to me. It all just depends on the quantity of how long it lasts before I stop picking it up. Anything I have to criticize about anything, it'd probably be pretty unimportant. Games like Dragon's Dogma or Skyrim I don't find important to talk about because it's only a one player game that eventually comes to an end.

CoD to me is great besides some of the killstreaks in almost every CoD game (High risk, no reward if playing pros. Example: Pave Low, AC130, Loki Satellite, etc.).
Halo's great in every way besides the armory (Unlockables are set too high).
SCV is great for its way of fighting but it get's old pretty fast (Lack of significant change for me to come back for more such as online & offline modes, objectives, moves lists, etc.).
Guardians is very great, but makes Berserking Tanks like me pretty low tier. This problem is my most common one in almost all games that is a fighting game such as Raging Blast, Dungeon Defenders, & previous mmo's I used to play. I'm only badass in Guardians because hardly anybody knows the MU of my main character. My character is pretty unpopular.

SCV & Guardians I find to be rather important, but other then that I don't find the others that much important. I mainly blame myself, not the game.
As for my casual games, I think I only have one that I really play often, & that's the Sims. The only thing I got to say about that game is the that the fucking fire meter needs to go. Should of got that shit on PC, console version sucks ass.

Pfft. Scrub.

Laughed harder at that than I had a right to.

I recently spent a lot of time playing "how to survive" with my brother. I can confidently amend my previous answer of scarcity as a loathed mechanic to include mention of limited inventory space. Wandering a zombie infested island chain, carrying multiple weapons as well as weapon and armor crafting mats, medicine, food, water, situational supplies like barrier destroying explosives, empty bottles or fishing rods in addition to ammunition and quest items all while juggling 25 or so inventory slots was an exercise in non-stop, white knuckle inventory management. Now there's a quote for your game box.
