Don't get me started on Wow.
I was so addicted to that game it wasnt even funny. Did that stupid high warlord grind and played for 12-16 hours a day for 3 months straight. Lost 5 kgs, dropped out of my first college, lost most of my friends. Utterly the biggest mistake of my life. I knew people who lost their jobs, their wives, girlfriends, social lives, dropped out of school etc etc.
I loved that game though when i played it. It was so good before the expansions(in vanilla) and added to the friends you made and toiled through in order to accomplish content, you just kept coming back for more. You would plan your whole life around that game. Sad, utterly utterly sad. Thank goodness the expansion pack came along and ruined it, it helped me break the habit.
Been cold turkey for a year and a half now. And i don't intend to go back. Fighting games are for me now lol. I advise anyone who intends to even try Wow or indeed any MMO, not to, as it has the potential (if you get addicted to it) to servely damage your life.
