Windows 7

Check your CPU. If it has 64bit support then you're all set. For Intel processors, it will be EM64T or simply Intel64 and for AMD, it'll be called x86-64 or simply AMD64. (Respectively all the same thing just named differently depending on when it was marketed). You can check Intel/AMD's website for detail information on your CPU specs. Most recent computers in the last 2-3 years should have 64bit support but check as some budget CPUs wont have this feature. Also in case you are wondering, you can run 32bit applications under 64 bit OS as both Win7 64bit and Vista 64bit are actually 32bit/64bit OS's. You'll end up with 2 program file folders, namely something like "C:\Program Files\" for 64 bit programs and "C:\Program Files (X86)\" for 32bit programs. So you (should) be able to run all your old 32bit games/apps on Windows 64bit platform (as long as everything else works in proper order).
