Who else here hates Thanksgiving?

Another good strategy, not for you in particular. Get pregnant @_@.

That's what my cousin did this year. She didn't have to celebrate with us.

But that would be even worse!

You'd have to take care of a snot-nosed brat for 18 years, and not to mention the mother would have to endure the excruciating pain of child birth! O_O

I'd much rather be forced to be around my family for a day, than something like that. <_<

I like Thanksgiving. I make sure I hang out with the few people who I don't hate and mutually feel the same way. If only they had a word for that.

I gotta say thanksgiving isn't that bad at all. I can definitely see what you all are saying about being forced to spend time with family, but i just don't have that problem since i moved away. I pretty much don't go visit family on holidays anymore, too much bullshit. My mother and father still try to bug me about coming over while using that guilt-trip-shit about how "they never see me anymore". All i say is, "if you want to see me, come to my house". Which of course is always out of the question. Imagine that! So i just lay back, relax and enjoy it by myself. If i were some of you, i would just show up for food then leave shortly afterwards. Sooner or later, they'll get the hint and not bother you anymore.

The four pounds I gained over this weekend should represent my love for this particular holiday (my Mom has turkey down to a science and makes her pecan and pumpkin pies from scratch - crust and all). Sorry all you emo bastards hate your families that can't cook.

Jeez. FINALLY, someone who agrees with me.
