Nothing wrong with that, it's a pure inflationary leaderboard, why not let it go Skies the Limits?

They do that in DOA5, it works fine, of course DOA5 at least has an accumulative points ranking system, depending on how much butt you kick you get a bunch of points for win streaks, and losses of course losing you points. It's more or less about how much you play, not about how "true skilled" you are.

Either way ranks aside, nobody should take them seriously, it's all about how good you are at the game. =D

Yeah I think SC5's ranking system was put in last minute. xD

I was thinking with all the custom character equipment, they could have put restrictions on that such as "Must be B rank to unlock" "Must be A rank to unlock." Which would give people an incentive to play Ranked more and not rage quit. At least it would make people feel rewarded, and the feeling of having equipment that most other players don't have. Of course that idea could back fire on me with a bunch of noobs who want some "B rank Spike armor set" are begging people to give them free wins online, lmao!
