What are some good anime to watch?

@Madnis: Money is pretty much the bottom line everywhere. Hence the current moe-blob infestation.

Anyway, if you want mindless action annie mae the Vampire Hunter D movies are pretty good imho. What I usually do is scope out stuff that sounds decent, and ask others about it. It's not foolproof, but unless the people you talk to are total dicks then you shouldn't end up suffering a lot of garbage.

Also fuck Evangelion. Whether or not being depressed or on therapy improves your writing varies from person to person. In this case I'd say it turned the show into a messy clusterfuck of vague symbolism and a pointless kill 'em all in the case of the movies.
 
Whoa, what the hell was that for Jaxel? I'd say Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are pretty universally admired. I happen to enjoy Gundam Wing for what it is, and as I said - Naruto and DBZ are guilty pleasures. Kind of like the movie Armageddon is.
