USA Network

looking at their schedule, i wonder: why are there so many TV shows about catching bad guys? i think the percentage of crime-based shows is disturbingly high-- pretty much anything between 8 and 11PM on any network is some form of cops and robbers (correct me if i'm wrong, and yeah there's also hospital shows lol but that's something else). is justice america's after-dinner mint?
 
I don't care for USA Network. But, I will say, you have to watch the Nielsen ratings closely.

I was SO FUCKING PISSED when TBS was running around saying Tyler Perry's House of Payne, was the #1 sitcom of ALL TIME. Oh, until I read the Nielsen ratings... #1 Sitcom of All Time! (among african americans 19-35)

OH! That makes sense!

Would you watch a show that advertised "this is the biggest pile of crap on TV so far, but watch us anyway."
