Right Norik. Because writing a new constitution is sooo easy. I supposed if I sat down for months and worked it out, I would come up for something.

Except the Constitution doesn't favor any economic model, so there's no need to re-write it in the event of a total collapse. You could build both an anarcho-capitalist republic and a socialist democracy with it.

Your post illustrates my point beautifully. Americans barely even know their own system; chances of a full-on anti-government revolution succeeding are near zero. A video game forum is not the place to discuss something like this, so I'm just gonna leave this here.

Yeah, but everything about America's origin stem from petty spite towards the king of England.

First of all nobody is going to argue that our origin was scientifically determined, you must have gotten pretty salty to try to clumsily shoehorn a burn in there. Secondly you only show your ignorance in reference to america's origin. We petitioned for representation in parliament, hell two years into the war Ben Franklin was still trying to get the king to accept home rule while still under the crown in exchange for the cessation of all hostilities. It had nothing to do with hating the king or the station of the monarchy.

We just need better people in congress and or the white house. Like I've been saying...If their paychecks and benefits were on the line, the shutdown would not have happened. Actually a lot of stuff would be different if they faced negative consequences or at least had the threat of termination for low approval ratings. What other place of business do you all know of where you are viewed poorly and perform poorly to that degree but stay employed?

Just get the money out of politics. And get rid of anyone who uses the word "God" in his/her arguments.

Reducing the average age of Congressmen could also help.
