Um, this has ALWAYS been the theory!

This was taught to me in Bio 2 years ago -_- People are just stupid and say we evolved directly from apes, but there are branches within the evolutionary chain. Such as both species B and species C evolved from species A, but the chains continued and neither species B nor see evolved from or to each other, but they do have a common relative.
 
the creature we evolved from...as well as this "ardi"...was a small mammal similar to modern lemurs. this is fact, not theory, and it has been.........................................

oh fuck it i'm pretty sure we all came out of a beaver.
