It pains me to admit it but i do think so too. Im not the type who play's top tier characters but i've been playing Zero since Vanilla since he's probably ma favorite video game character anyways. Right now even if you search for any kind of weakness that Zero has your gonna die of age before finding some. This character as NO bad match ups, he's safe as fuck , can attack from all angles. Has 3 cancelable dash( one even hiting your enemy) Has probably the best pressure tools and some of the best normals in the game and godlike mixups, doesn't need a lot of meter, hits like a panzer tank. Did i say enough?

He can't control the air, and that already messes him up. Bad match-ups are probably Mag, Doom, Dorm, Hawkeye, Dante, Vergil. He's also built like a glass cannon, he can do a lot but can't take any hits or he is dead. Good character though.

No Zero has weaknesses, his issue is his strengths are just too good once he gets rolling. The biggest issue is really just hit lightning/Charge Shot cancels. That's really what set him so high in UMvC. Really I would just want them to lower the reward off it. Maybe add heavy damage or hit stun scaling so rather than dealing 700k off of a series of super ambiguous safe pressure, maybe limit him to 350k or turn it into a vortex with a soft knock down that he can keep going for resets on.

I want Zero to have his tools. He is a glass cannon and he can be beaten, but he just gets too much off his set ups and once he has advantage he doesn't have a lot of risk to off set him. Wolverine at least had safety issues and if you blocked the berserker slash you at least got the reward of escaping or attacking him. With Zero even when you block his cross ups, he still gets advantage and can just keep on you till you fuck up and that's the problem. You aren't rewarded well for good blocking. You often must endure a lot of pressure and then usually you're just gunning to get out of the corner.

Zeros bad match ups are characters with higher priority or one's that can control from above. But if those characters can be put in the corner, it doesn't matter as they can't get rolling.I'd say good matchups would be:

Vergil, Task, Akuma (only with meter), Doom, Dante....Haggar (...theory...but his spin can take away a lot of Zeros good shit)

I don't agree with the air Theory. Zero now has Raikousen instant cancel medium command air dash to instantly follow his lightning bolt to charge in. Super jumps to close are met with heavy raikousen cancel. Nobody is using these right now but from what i have experienced in tourney's lots of the characters you name do get beaten by insta lightning cancels. Its basically a horizontal long range attack in mid air that you can follow with what you want. Like i said i really like the dash since you dash behind the lightning instead of in front of it. Anyway IMO there is no really good zero right now. Everybody is obsessed with damage and all but iv'e yet to see Zero's with really crafty mix ups. At least i think mine are more on point then what i'm seeing right now.

So I've been messing with Dorm and Hawkeye and neglecting Dante. I've been realizing how awesome Dorm is now that I've actually been putting time into getting better with him. Being able to get 800k of 1 combo with no assist is ridiculous even if I can't do the combo completely. His combo's from mid-screen are really hard to do since teleporting off F+H is hard for now. Though his flight combos are getting easier now after working on Nova's fly/unfly combos. I still have trouble getting Doom's midscreen combos but its alright. It really bothers me that I can't do any of this crap online though.
