Just went up against a Zero, Akuma and Taskmaster Team, there synergy is ridiculously good, i could not counter the guy online with my Ghost Rider, Wesker and Virgil team, not even my Dark Wesker and Dark Virgil could take'um.
I can take out Zero and Taskmaster, but his Akuma is stupid, how in the world does he take no damage during his supers when i make contact with him? it just ignores all attacks or what?
Akuma is a good character but the only supers he has that don't take damage are his Tatsu, his uppercut ultra, and his lvl 3. The tatsu is the most annoying of the 3 since it destroys almost all projectiles but ghost can just j.S and hit him out of it. His uppercut ultra is invincible but is crazy unsafe so unless he does it at point blank range you should just block and punish it accordingly. His lvl 3 goes through everything but travels in a straight line and it usually used to punish hyper on reaction so if you see him doing it just jump and make him waste 3 meters.
So on a side note I've been practicing on my stick a lot more recently and I'm starting to get better! I can do my own version of Nova's H loop on pad and stick so things are looking up. Oh yeah before I forget to ask, do Dante's old vanilla combos work in ultimate? I have the old guide and since I haven't had time to look up his new combos I'm just going to work on his combos from vanilla. I heard he has a lot more push back on his normals so that makes me wonder if his combos work.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I played a really good MODOK player online yesterday that had some insane traps with MODOK. He had a corner that that hit high and low almost at the same time and he would call in sentinel drones to hit mid. I didn't have any idea how to deal with it. MODOK does a crap load of damage and his throw range is insane, people say he is a shit character but he isn't.
