Hilarious. Ridley's a tortilla. XD

My only turn off in this game is that one low poke, or one dude mashing cr.L leads into death for your character...

I mean a combo that kills a character should not be done from one measly ass low poke, it should be from a well calculated set up that leads to a kill, not some cheap ass poke. I find it kind of irritating, but what the hell...
It's crapcom, they love them low pokes -> 50-100% combos... it's just dumb

I can somewhat agree with this and it was my initial complaint as well, but it's not always the case. Sure some character are completely stupid in the sense they have combos that have very few limitations to result in a 1 combo KO....Dante, Wolverine, Magneto are probably the worst offenders. But then you get to other characters where it is more reasonable and either requires a proper team set up, meter management, and other factors. The issue is people figured things out the developers didn't intend such as DHC glitch and combos that exploit hit stun immunity for unfair amounts of damage and meter.

Also consider 1 character is only a 3rd of your life total so you're still in the fight. A lot of the skill in this game is defensive offense, attacking safely so there's a lot of small victories as well. I use Taskmaster (vert) assist because in a lot of cases i can go for a delayed cross up and if i fail, the arrows will save me from being comboed and sometimes get me a combo. So there are ways around it and ways to stay safe and that's a lot of the skill. You have a lot of options, such as maybe doing a hyper and canceling to Doom finger lasers to cover the screen and get your frame advantage.

Hmmm...Storm/Task/Dorm doesn't sound bad.

That actually has some fairly decent potential, does Storm's hailstorm hyper lead to a hard-knockdown? Cause if it does then you can follow it with dark dimension! The only problem I see is that aside from Dorm's dark hole you will have a hard time extending combos.

Well with Storm and Taskmaster assists dont offer them much in extending combos. My Taskmaster BnBs range from 600-800k unassisted and Storm just simply has really heavy hit stun scaling so even though she can get a relaunch, the potential is often worse than had you just done her normal BnB. Storms damage really comes from her hypers so it's key to have a working DHC if I want more. Her Hailstorm can OTG and it picks you up off the ground. I can probably even DHC to Dorm's ball and have it connect which might even mean 5 hypers in a row if i can keep doing hailstorm/ball.

Really all these characters need are good DHCs and set ups. Akuma isn't bad and can get me some good triangle dash cross ups, but I want to explore other options and also order my team so Storm/Task are in front. With Akuma I prefer task behind him because the vert assist is REALLY good for akuma jump spamming fire balls and dive kicks
