Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I dunno. Keep away takes longer to figure out. It has smaller rewards and has to be consistent and until you have that consistency down the damage out put of aggressive teams will have advantage. Dormammu is REALLY good, but if you fuck up on a portal or pillar you can get fucked up. If you fuck up with wolverine, short of doing his DP, he can usually just wing it and keep goin on most people. Someone will put it all together, we're already seeing a few things starting to surface.

Dorm, Doom, Arthur, Sentinal, Modok, Taskmaster all have great keep away potential and with the right mix can cover the entire screen and amass solid chip.
 
Y U NO RUSHDOWN? Keepaway isn't that good in this game no matter what people try to tell you. Also, Team Unblockable isn't viable either, no matter how hard you want to believe.

Yeah, this is the only forum I visit for MvC3, so I have no idea what Team Unblockable is. Either way, keepaway is stupid good against a lot of the characters in the game if they don't have assists backing them. Not only that, but I don't really keep away so much as I play around other people's assists. But, yeah, wish we could play offline so that I could show you Sentinel isn't as good as some make him out to be (though, in case you didn't know, that was my first time ever picking Sentinel in that game. >_>).

Other than that, I'm going to try to invite HumanTyphoon next time we play; not sure how it translates online, but he plays a pretty good keepaway team in Sent/Shuma/Dante (which is what I was failing to emulate =P).

And I do rushdown with Zero; I just switch to zoning whenever I think it's more effective than running face first into random jab ---> Half life combo. Other than that, though it doesn't really matter online, those drawer kicks with Sent and meteor smash with Super Skrull are stupid unsafe offline.

Any Point/Low Assist/ Overhead Assist is team UB.

Also I know Sent isn't that good so I don't know where that came from, and yes I know c.M and Meteor Smash are really unsafe, but there was no reason to cancel them into something relatively safe (flight/Torch or Inferno) since I wasn't getting punished.
 
You weren't getting punished because it's online. Online, Sentinel can easily do armored something ---> armored something else like it gives him frame advantage and meteor smash is just hard to block online (by the time you see your character look the right way to block, it's too late - you actually have to guess which way to block unless you're out of 'cross-up' range). I was honestly surprised I was able to punish all of you Dorm S's with Zero, but, like I said, he's boss online.

And Felicia, C. Viper, and Chun were the first characters I really picked up in the game, so that's just the way that played out.
