Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I'm gonna say Deadpool be breaking that 4th wall so hard.
He actually used the special gauge to whack an opponent.
Gave me a chuckle. Na-mu.....

Of course he's using the special bar, whacking's not the word I'd use... I like 'bangbang bangbangbang bang' better myself... Personally I want Cable to get back in, original new characters like Amingo couldn't hurt either. Other then that *cough* sabretooth *coughcough* gambit *ahem* excuse me...

Regardless of how fun it is and how many characters are legitimately usable, the game is random as fucking scrub poker. People are loling over level 3 x factor Sent because he does the damage quick and easy off of all options, but plenty other characters are capable of the same shit option wise. To its credit, this game won't just be "Learn three characters and achieve combos" but it's pretty close lol. Level 2-3 x factor is pretty much like every character in MvC2 having an Iron Man infinite off of most, if not all mixup options at the very least. People will learn how to best to lame it out and not get blown up as much, but it still yanks the ball from nearly anywhere in the court and puts it in your hands along with a bottle of instant metaphorical steroids.

Right now what separates this game from MvC2 the most imho is that the potential counters for the strongest options (aka level 3 X factor with an appropriate character) are a lot less solid than what existed in the last game between the top teams. Normally it's silly to cry foul this early, but unless something drastic is found to counter level 3 x factor beyond "I have it too and don't think I'll get blown up too fast to use it" or "I can run away from that character with this character" and the damage boost is lowered (At the very least), then the game will prolly end up being a novelty like the majority of vs games.

k rant over. Keep in mind it's not bitching so much as speculation under the guise of internet authority and random metaphors lol, I have almost no vested interest in this game being truly competitive. Feel free to post friendly counter walls of tee ell semi-colon dee arr.

First day impressions (which consists only of Mission and Training): Phoenix corner pressure is that ish. I was thinking she would be my anchor, but I really want to play her on point. Going to have to work extensively on defense and other characters in order to do that, though.

Because of characters with solid offensive teleports and easy assist setups into launch combos, putting her on point is dangerous as hell. The best bet is prolly to have a defensive zoning duo that works well on its own without meter to wear down the opponent, build meter and avoid snapbacks into Pheonix rape fanfiction. But that's just a suggestion from an internet random, it's best to just play the game, screw around with options and have fun right now :U
