Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

same at ours. 3 guys obviously had early play time and went in with full combos. Game is gonna take getting used to. It's so easy to mash a combo together but to be precise is gonna take some work. I'm still like @_@ on strategies at this point. I like X-23 a lot...but thats just cuz her normals and dash are insane....super skrull throw is intense. Throw > L tenderizer > Lvl 1 Hyper is a really easy was to beat new people down.

I'm baffled why they even bothered to lock the 4 characters. I accidentally unlocked them in my first hour of play just toying around.

Online feels a bit laggy. I'm lettin it slide till this weekend when there's a denser population to grab better connections, but my first one was terrible and the others were ok. Think I only had one really good lag free one. I can't super jump in lag >_< ate projectiles all night trying to jump in.
 
Ok, been nailing away for nearly 4 hours now. And I have to say, Dante + X-23 + Zero =PROFIT! Loving this team!

My first online game was actually a good connection, no input or display lag. I'm almost sure the guy was in simple mode as each char pulled off only 1 super.

Fucking hate the 360 D-Pad now more than ever though...
 
Ya if you do pad consider that new 6 button pad with microswitch analog. It looks like it will be really good for pad players...despite its design being ugly as sin. As far as I know there's not short cuts in this game so a good peripheral is more key than SSF4. I don't even think they have negative edging. I gotta read the guide and try some stuff out and see what i find :/

And yeah I totally had a simple mode come at me. It works pretty well. they did some decent things but to even it out, it allowed me to predict them and make counters once I had it figured out when to push block and punish. I think they did a great job on that part.
 
I've been hearing that there are already some broken eams, like Spiderman, wesker and zero, one is fast as hell the other one too powerful and the other one idk, I don't think it's true though, whatcha guys think? My team is Chun-Li, Phoenix, and X-23 anyway =/
 
Edit: and is it true there are still more characters to be added so we can download them later on?
