Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

There is.

It's called: Any team with Morrigan.

:D

Yeah, I already know about Morrigan's assist; I wouldn't use an assist for a buff effect like that when I could give them a more offensive assist and use it to the same effect, though she doesn't stay on screen too long.

Damn, you beat me to that video IFB. I was just gonna come in here and post that. Dark Phoenix with xfactor is retarded, stupid good. I had a team of Dormammu, Phoenix and Morrigan picked out originally but later thought about possibly dropping Phoenix. A lot of people on SRK were questioning the usefullness of her and i was thinking the same. After seeing this, my faith in her is restored.

However, there are a lot of characters i am excited to try and play as well, so who knows? I suppose everything is subject to change once i have the game in hand on Tuesday.

Oh, my god, not only have I seen vid, but you're so incredibly dense this doesn't make any sense. You know, I used to wonder why people gave you so much shit when I first got here, but, the more I read shit you say, the more I understand it.

I'm going to spell this out for you, even though it's obvious your brain has some mechanism that distorts all logic in order to make sense of however the hell you think.

People are banking on Dark Phoenix to make Phoenix into a completely viable character (whether or not I believe the same is irrelevant). In order to get get Dark Phoenix, you have to have Phoenix be KO'd with 5 special bars. This means, essentially, that, unless we learn some crazy meter gaining setups, you have to be wary of using Hyper Combos, DHC's, Phoenix as an assist, and, at the same time, also keep her alive if your opponent uses snapbacks. Not only this, but, even Phoenix comes down to having Phoenix-specific teams, the teams have to have the ability to function well without Phoenix, as the noted requirements will not be met some times.

Don't get me wrong, I think Phoenix is a GREAT character without regards to her health, but any team, at the moment, that uses her, is going to have to play that much more competently than those that don't. Any team with Phoenix on it is going to be putting limitations on itself by super strict use of hyper combos, DHCs, and assists, if one of their goals is to always have a pocket Dark Phoenix who, mind you, still dies in one combo, so it's not like you just activate Dark Phoenix and profit. Honestly, any team with Dark Phoenix as a goal is looking like a less powerful version of Clockw0rk, with you having to have two characters perfectly capable of handling things with 1 assist and gain meter while at the same time being a threat to your opponent.

I'm not even going to hit the 'easiness' discussion, because, not only do you misunderstand the meaning but, but it's obvious you barely even understand general fighting game mechanics. And the fact that you would mention yourself playing MvC2 is hilarious; I bet you were the bane of many a' online scrub in MvC2. I'm starting to see how somebody like you, who, for lack of better words, is horrible at Calibur, could have the audacity to believe you're actually decent at it.

And, even with vids, just to show how subjective they are:

Go ahead to 6:42. Not to mention, in the vid with the reverse OCV, not only were both players average (read: they would be horrible if they were playing that way once everyone actually understands the game), but the player who got reverse OCV'd could've won off of simply using X-factor and then doing another hyper combo.

With that, I'm done typing towards you. Like I said, you can ignore me or something, because, really, I have no interest in talking to you unless it's to beat you horribly in a FT10 at some tournament.
