Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

For those who have played it- how are the execution barriers? Is it more or less reasonable then SF4 stupid plink/option select crap?

Kinda hopin for a damage scale patch...I hate to be making the call early...but some of these videos worry me. But I have a lot of faith in Capcom to patch the game when we start breaking it.

Well, you have 3 characters and 99 seconds. Though it's a lot right now, there's no reason that, once the game has been further explored a good read should take anything LESS than 1/3 of one character's life.

Is it possible for someone to give me a brief overview of how the general gameply of this game is? I really wanna buy it but im not sure what to expect.

Well if you've played MvC2 you should know what to expect. If not think SF4 but simpler, with more insane and OP moves. Not to mention 3 player tag-teams. Can't wait myself, as I said, going to rent it first though, not because I doubt it, but I'm not paying full launch price if I don't have to lol.

Meanwhile here's some more videos I gleaned from Neoempire, they're touting them as the first casual UK matches, handpicked from some of the best players, recorded for your viewing pleasure...

Carpet (Spencer, Dormammu, Hulk) VS Dr Hype (Wesker, Iron Man, Trish)

Carpet (Spencer, Dormammu, Hulk) VS Kaworu (Ryu, Deadpool, Iron man)

Carpet (Arthur, Dormammu, Magneto) VS Electric (Hulk, Chun-Li, Viewtiful Joe)

More coming, apparently, but you'll just have to find em yourselves lol, have to warn you though, I'm still waiting for pt2 of Seth Killian answers your questions, and apparently the site shut down after pt1 came up... Plus can anyone tell me what a 'Yipes' is, and bonus cookies for why I should care lol... Also;

I Don't NEED to wait 7 days....*sigh* *sigh*
I've found...THE ISO FILE

*gasps*, I wouldn't involve myself in such questionable shengingans... lol, my m8 has a 360, he's probably playing away as we speak (Read: bastards)... Luckily I have patience on my side... Now to watch those videos as it disintegrates...

It's all gonna depend on the set ups into these 100%. I was originally like "well the meter needs to be at 4 and etc..." but you gain so much meter you can go from lvl 1-4 at the start of a match with 1 combo and then dump it all into DHCs.

It's a wait and see thing, but a red flag is there to watch out for. In my mind I would like huge combos to peak at 70% life on average life characters. Beyond phoenix I dont think anyone should be 1 hit KO without X-factor. A break system like TvC would've been nice and may be the push if the damage proves too much. But we'll see. it may be a case of, "you deserve to lose if you get hit by that"

I'll be playing the game Friday and I'll give my feedback and tell you if it's too much or fair by circumstance.

*BTW 'Yipes' is a tournament player notable for his special brand of shit talk that has spawned many fighting game related meme's. He's also in the famous MvC2 video on youtube versus Justin Wong "Never Give Up". He's coined phrases like "Shit so Pringles", "Fuck the Knicks!", "Mango Sentinal", "Make it Rain", "Scoops!", and the ever famous "Where's yo curly mustache?" which is actually in the game! He often is asked to sign cans of Pringles. The definition meaning you crumble just like a pringles chip...so where's yo curly mustache?

ALRIGHT!!!! After a full days worth of play, I'm absolutely in LOVE with this game. It's so beautiful, plays so smooth, and just kicks so much ass.

The controls will be quite awkward to get used to at first if you haven't played TvC, but you'll easily get a grasp of the control scheme after a few rounds. I find these controls a lot more accessible than any of it's previous incarnations which is a plus to me.

At first, I thought the damage was a bit high as well, but when me and bro played for a good 30 matches, we found at least half of those ending in time out. The damage is more or less similar to MvC2. If you do feel that the damage is a bit excessive, you have an option to turn the damage to low before the fight starts.

lol don't worry man. I don't ever go online with my 360. It's just a modded console for me to play 360 games offline. I've had it for about 4 years now. Not a single RRoD. XD Can't say the same about the other 360's that I had...
