So it appears Thor gets a meter building taunt. Speculations are floating around SRK now suggesting this alone solves a lot of his issues simply because you can just charge the meter and force opponents to come to you, thus fixing his slowness and command grab range problems.
Obviously this would have to be cancellable for it to really be usefull which appears to be the case. The next relevant question is; can assists be called mid-taunt, or does the proper assist need to be called ahead of time?
It should be noted that Felicia supposedly has a similar ability but wasn't really worth much. Some say Thor's movelist should provide safer protection to counter rushdown compared to Felicia.

I posted my theory on Thor's taunt to be used with Hypers that let you roam free. Example: Dromammu's Fireball hyper and Trish's Scythe. If you can tag out to Thor he can build meter while they're stuck. Further more if you can tap for a pressure assist you might have enough time to fully recover that 1 bar of meter, thus recycling the meter fully but being stuck with thor so you couldn't spam it again before they could react.
Even simple things such as assist lock downs have good potential.
Even more...what if you can do it mid combo? do a magic series, taunt, cancel into special. This might be a viable way to get small increments of free meter.
akuma's pretty much confirmed. I genuinely think Akuma Galactus and Taskmaster are in. Not sold on sentinal.

Hmm I heard Galactus was an unplayable boss, but whatever surely not part of the standard lineup... I'd hope for a lot more personally, there were lots more in the old game after all, still holding out for Sabretooth and Rolento I guess... Heard Rolento might be in a SF game though, don't know if that hurts or helps his chances, probably set for disappointment with Sabretooth too though
