He won't be broke anymore, which will be the biggest issue actually. It's his glitchy exploits that drew the vast crowd to him in the first place, otherwise he would have only been an occasional, novelty selection by most players. So now what we have is everyone that had him on their team obviously want him back for nostalgic reasons, but that will not last. Most people will tire of him very quickly once they fully realize he can no longer chain combos in to and out of flight or hit incoming characters with unblockable beams upon arrival. Then, it will come down to popularity and play style. Well.... there is nothing popular about a playable generic Sentinel anymore and there are already more than enough keepaway/zoning characters on the roster, so there you go. Sentinel effectively worthless on the cast.
