didn't he get a canine companion later on? Like that old Sega game Shadow Dancer or something, thatd be cool lol, but yeah he'd need to cycle modes like in the old game, definitely more then just the blaster

yeah Rush. If I had it my way Rush would be a fly mode, megaman would have 8 powers for his blaster and a slide kick. The 8 powers dont all need to be projectiles, they can be things like shields and etc. You could make it so he has instant access to all of them, or the cycle method (which is cool for gimic, but may be mechanically too complex for no real need). His Hypers would be the one where he gets super big like in MvC2 (lvl3), A giant mega blaster shot (lvl1), and a mode that buffed his specials for a certain time (lvl1)

Still with all the effects, multiple characters, etc...it needs to be different enough. Having the same color AND MARKINGS can lead to a brief lapse of proper identification. But it can be swayed by the models size and other things. If he burly, or oozing, or deformed it would help. It's easy to identify when they're standing, but this game is visually a cluster fuck at times

To further show my point that Capcom doesn't really care about characters having similar colors, Spiderman also has an Iron Spider color which is based on Iron Man's default color.

C'mon, Iron spider outfit, no one's ever going to get confused between two characters so fundamentaly different, Venom and Spiderman on the other hand... But really, I'd like to see Venom and Carnage together, one or the other, then Venom I guess... I doubt that costume will have any gameplay effect anyway, so the game could just make automatic adjustments in theory... So, no one else wants Sabretooth back then?

C'mon, Iron spider outfit, no one's ever going to get confused between two characters so fundamentaly different, Venom and Spiderman on the other hand...

Venom and Spiderman are more different Size wise than Spiderman and Ironman. Easier to distinguish within effects ect. The point is nobody is going to get confused between any of them.
