ok this was a decent enough movie.
the best scene was the forest fight by far, optimus owned all of those fuckin decepticons, including Megatron. he destroyed him, only taking a hit and a shot at. thats it. he fought them off like a true autobot leader, a feirce and fearful one too. sucks how he died though, totally unfair. fuck megatron and his pussy wussy sneak killing weak-off syndrome. the only reason why he went undeaftable from the first one is cuz he let megatron beat him cuz he was protecting the humans and sam from the cube. now hes back with no humans in the way and look at prime's power against megatron. great fighting. he threw him down and punched him out like UFC haha! but ya the other fight scenes had great cgi and special effects, and the surround sound is the total best in this movie, cuz thats all Michael Bay likes is the best surround sound and its def worth it. the story could been better though, it was too jumpy... like it was all made up in a minute..
LOL
Yeah, Optimus!! That back stab kill was an enemy's classic.
Edit: I'm still amazed how alive they look in this movie. Their faces showed a lot of expressions.
In the previous movie, he turned into some kind of Cyberttonian jet. In this one, they revive him, and he magically turns into a Cybertronian tank all of a sudden, complete with tank treads on his feet that he uses to grind at Starscream's face on top of a skyscraper after the fight with Prime. Then after the EPIC BATTLE at the end, he turns into a tank and... flies away? Doesn't make any sense. Nothing about Megatron's presence in this movie makes sense. A line in the first movie implies that he and Prime were brothers, which would have made him a peer to the Fallen, yet he's totally subservient. I get the impression that this movie was all supposed to feature The Fallen and Starscream trying to revive Megatron and take "revenge" for his death, but on their rampage to turn it into the most idiot-serving movie of all time, they just said "Fuck it. Throw the big bad back in there. Who cares what it means? Who cares about any of this shit? Just make sure it's awesome!"
Megatron as well as other Transformers can transform into two different things. Remember OmegaSupreme, he is an Autobot who can transforms into a space station or a big train-like tank. In the first movie Megatron transformed into flight mode and gun cannon. In ROTF, Megatron was revived with the parts of one the Decepticons that they killed there ordered by "the doctor." The Decepticon killed had tank-like part on him.
That was very brutal how the Decepticons did that without thinking twice. This movie shows a lot of their nature in general, Autobots and Decepticons. For me they are as alive as in the cartoons... way more alive. Because that's they are, extraterrestial beings who lived in their own planet.
Today, science is accomplishing many things that were impossible or heractic, but in the future, all will be a part of new standars in the way of our lives. Transformers are a part of the unexplored possibilities that might exist in the universe. A living system capable of changing its form as a defensive mechanism.
Transformers was EXACTLY what the movie industry needed.
It was loud, it was unapologetic, the main character wasn't a pussy (even though hes not jacked or anything, i still wouldnt like to see that man with his shirt off), there were explosions, slow motion, explosions.
It was amazing.
I felt like i was a kid again, with the 80s and 90s style action movies that didnt have much plot and didnt NEED much plot.
And if you dont like it, go watch Elizabethtown or Garden State, you pussy.
and to all those people crying racism - maybe YOURE the one that's racist - racist against awesome stuff
Yeah, the movie does feel 80's!! Love it.
Is it me or did it kind of feel like it was tied/followed The Matrix? I am a hard core die hard fan of the Matrix and was wondering if it was just me or did anybody kind of tie it in with the Matrix? I know, just cause they mention the word "Matrix" doesn't mean that's the tie in. I felt they kind of matched up/went together. I don't know. Just saying. (bored at work)
LOL, it doesn't have anything to do with "The Matrix" movies. In Tranformers, the Matrix Of Leadership is a primal great force for the Transformers, it has different porpuses as shown in the movie. Originaly, Optimus has it with him all the time until he dies in the cartoon movie, then it get pass on to HotRod, who later finds out that he is a Prime too. After he fuses with Matrix, he transforms into RodimusPrime, and takes command of the Autobots until after a lot of new episodes, Optimus is revived.
By the way, Unicron is going to be in the third movie!

Question? In what way was this movie rasist? I am PuertoRican, and I didn't percieved anything wrong or rasist in the movie, and I've seen it twice. In anycase, this movie is about transformers, not actor's look, not rasisism, etc. A person going to watch this movie with a mind so trouble, might not enjoy it. Remember, back in those days while we watched and played with Transformers, it was all about action fun with the possibilities of alien life and adventure on our planet. That is all I saw in this movie, everything that my imagination pondered when I was a kid. Why would I bother breaking this dream come true by point out things that are not even there? In my opinion, the people that think this rasist way, had just ruined the movie on them selves. Can't you forget about live problems for at least an hour with fithty minutes?
Grow up people.
"Keep the peace, keep the species, keep living, learn from Optimus..."
