Also, there's a sense of pride to helping out a cornerstone of the soul calibur community (which we now are).

There is a "gifting" system in place... Give someone you know who has a paypal account $20 and they can buy the subscription for you, instead of themselves by simply defining your username instead of their's when they sign up for the subscription.
 
Problem is, i don't know anyone that has a paypal account, and i don't have 20 dollars. Meh i'll just help out without paying.
