Totally New to Fighting Games

That's one of the beautiful things about fighting games: You don't have to be good to enjoy them.

Anyways thanks for reading. I hope to get better at this game with the help of these forums.

It's nice to meet you man and I gotta say, Tira is probably gonna be a little tricky for somebody new to fighters. That said her character design is absolutely bad ass and there's something to love about her speed and mobility. I wish you luck man and I hope you enjoy your time here. If you need help finding anything let us know. The best advice I could offer would be to stick with it and practice against the bots for now. At the highest difficulty settings they cheat so don't sweat it if they seem to know all your inputs (Because they do) but it's still a good idea to fight them on increasingly higher difficulties and drill, drill, drill. At the very least it'll help you get a feel for what moves are risky. For a couple general tips I hope won't offend you, A is usually a character's fastest attack, don't be afraid to block, and mind your surroundings. And if you have trouble with Tira and you feel yourself ready to put your head through the wall, just remember there are more beginner friendly characters.
