I'm just hearing about this, and I've got to say that it truly saddens me that we've lost someone who was genuinely an overall nice guy. My sincerest condolences to his family who I know are feeling their loss sharply right now.
For those of you all didn't have the pleasure of meeting him I'd like to just give an example of what kind of guy he was when I met him at Final Round back in 2012. During WF's of our pool we came up against each other and I was so nervous I was pale, sweating, breathing heavy, and shaking like a leaf. We sat down and he looked over at me and said in his soft voice, "you alright man? Here let me get you some water." He went and got me some water and asked me if I wanted to wait for a bit before we played. I told him I was fine and he proceeded to run through me like diarrhea in that first match. I kind of just nodded my head and told him let's just replay it and get it over with. He pressed replay but told me hang on a second and IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR MATCH he says, hey look this is punishable, you can step this move, try not to attack after this, etc. He did this with complete respect and showed that all he wanted was for people to get better at the game so they would stay inspired and come out to more events. He was a sweetheart of a guy and I will always remember his friendliness and class.
R.I.P. my brother
