Tiers for non-fighting games?

I thought a thread like this might be fun so, let's see some tier list for video game genres other than fighting games. Other things besides video games is O.K. too.

Food:

S Tier
--Sushi
A Tier
--Pizza
--Prime Rib/Roast Beef
--Mexican Food
--Chinese Food (aka cats!)
B Tier
--Other Chinese Food (aka not cats!)
--Lasagna
Z Tier
--Turkey (tryptophan attack!)

Your food tier list is wrong and you should feel bad. Pizza is B tier if even: it's usually mediocre, but it always gets the job done. Same with Chinese food. Korean food is near the top, with Vietnamese food behind.

For actual tiers in other competitive games? Any good (read: non-console) FPS will have proper weapons tiers.

Example, Quake 3 (OSP)

A Tier: Railgun, lightning gun, rocket launcher
B Tier: Plasma gun, grenade launcher, shotgun
C Tier: Machine gun, gauntlet

These tiers change slightly depending on the map and the players. Some maps will have rocket launcher move down to B tier and railgun up to S, while some will move railgun down to B and lightning gun to S.

The reason for weapon tiers is map control, and they're actually supposed to be like that.

You could argue that RTS games also have unit tiers, but it's mostly about some units being garbage and some being imba, so whatever. DotA, though, has a definite tier list for the heroes, since many of them have overlapping roles and some are simply better than others. You don't see actual tier lists, but instead heroes are judged on how often the see real competitive play, and how far up the banlists they are (though bans change a lot depending on what strat a team is running).
