Friendly? Malek is one of the friendliest guys I've ever met. He's serious about this game/series and busts his ass to keep the community going there. I would definitely hit him up here to get involved in the scene up there. It will definitely be worth your while if you really want to enjoy this game. Good luck to you...

I don't know the man but I have found that in the past, people have treated me differently than others based on the amount of respect they have had for my skill. When I was bad at something people were less than kind. When I excelled at something else, people involved in it were the friendliest in the world. And I often saw them be unkind to others, whether to their faces or as an aside with me in private about them. If you were ever the last picked in dodgeball or the first picked for football then you know what I'm talking about. You're a good player Greatone, so your reception by someone who's serious about their game may have been different than the one granted to a scrub. I can't pretend to speak for anyone in all circumstances. You should keep that in mind.

Of course it might just be that sage's personality didn't click with the other french players while yours does. Competitive natures, big egos and trash talk are all things I personally abhor but which are common in competitive circles.

My english isn't bad, but sometimes it'll take me a whole sentence to explain something while a single word could do the job.

Eh, English is my primary language and I'm still quite verbose. There's no point to being concise if it doesn't convey your feeling precisely. So don't sweat a ramble or two.
