This is where race and justice get completely screwed up. I can't call Zimmerman a racist because of little proof, I can say he follows stereotypes. The 911 call proved it. He shot and killed another, an arrest should have been made for the simple fact that evidence proved that Martin was being pursued.

I'm mad at America for saying that Zimmerman should be killed, he has a right to a fair trial. I don't like Zimmerman either, but he has his rights. How can we call justice, when we are being reckless? When he gets sentenced, that will be justice for his family.

Don't listen to the Black Panther party leader, he's an ignorant fool and contradicts everything about this case and what he stands for.

Add: I don't believe it was "self-defense". That's BS.
This shouldn't just be justice for my race (The black race), this should be a wake up call to all.

Florida and any other state with this stand ground law needs to revise it, how many more people need to be killed?

I think the original 911 call was edited a bit for dramatic effect. Seems like the 911 operator asked if the person (Treyvon) was white,black or latino. But for some reason a lot of media only played Zimmerman saying he's black which was a response, not volunteered information. The fact is most black folks are murdered by other black folks. Where's Sharpton and and Jackson when these victims are being buried? No one cares about blacks killing each other I guess. Not even other black folks. I wouldn't talk about it if it didn't bother me a bit. But since I'm white I feel I'm in an awkward position to tell black folks to stop killing each other. So, let's all get worked up about a murder that represents less than a decimal amount of crime perpetrated on black people because this one was done by a white-ish man.

People get shot everyday...Why is this one so popular?

It finally gives this stand ground law a chance to be revised, no one else needs to be killed.

If this doesn't go to trial, it will convince the people that this country is still very racist.

I'm not saying America doesn't still have some racism in it, but people will think it's a lot worse than it really is if this doesn't go to trial.

Racism still exists in this country, all races contribute to it. A lot of people of other races don't realize that I along with some others have to watch what we do/say around certain places/people in situations. Hell, there's been a few times where people have accused me of stealing my mom's car just because it was "nice" and I probably "couldn't afford that".

As long as we have races, racism will exist. Every race has racists, not just whites or blacks.
