Zimmerman shot and killed an innoncent 17 year old who was carrying Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea for what? He should locked up, given life or the death penalty and the law enforcements should take this into account of what not to do in case stuff like this happens.

There is so much conflicting information. Zimmerman is worthless in my book, and I keep reading he wasn't licensed to have the weapon, that he's been in trouble fitting to enact vigilante justice before, and that the cops there have been in trouble countless times for being bad at their jobs. But at this point I don't even know what the facts are.

The only fact is that Zimmerman did a God awful job of taking care of the situation if he is being sincere, and at worst he is a lying racist murderer.

Whole thing is ridiculous.

Zimmerman killed another person regardless. There were no reports of shouts for help or warnings that he would shoot. There were no shots to the extremities. Only lethal retaliation. It used to be that in Florida you had to prove you attempted to flee

I'm not saying where I fall on this, but I must comment on how stupid this is. Assuming for the moment that Zimmerman's story is accurate, you tell me that if you had "No Limit Nigga" sitting on your chest and trying to pull your gun out of your waistband, that you would be thinking, "well, I don't want to kill or seriously injure this young gentleman, yet he must be shot. Hmm... AHA! I will aim for his extremities! I must also warn him of my intent!"

The only thing I know for certain is that Zimmerman should not have followed the kid like he did, but like Supa said you can't arrest someone for that. As for what happened between the following and the gunshot you can't really say for certain. There has been so much bs and fact manipulation on both sides that at this point the only one who knows what really happened is Zimmerman himself. If it goes to trial the judge needs to empty the courtroom of everyone not directly involved with the case and make damn sure at the beginning that everyone there knows that the only things that will be taken into consideration are cold hard facts and not speculation or emotional pleas.
