The team fortress 2 thread

Only on the 360 & PC??

Knightwarrior, let me break it down for you.

PC gets up to the minute (quite literally, I might add.) updates and patches, since PC is what Valves games are originally made for. Plus its easy to do cause Valve runs its games through its own online distributor software, Steam.

360, may never see the updates. At least not as a free patch, or even a DLC. Because the Xbox 360 version doesn't have enough disc space for the Gigs worth of updates the game has gotten since late 2007. Yet, they still keep promising this massive update to pay for.

PS3 is a whole different ball game. Valve does not support the PS3, the PS3's Port of the Orange Box was done by EA and EA doesn't really care about that game anymore. Hence why you havn't seen an update or L4D come to PS3 since. Valve just doesn't want to develop for the system. Which is a shame, they could really do a lot of good there.(PS3 can support Mouse n Keyboard, Blu-Ray Discs can hold a shitton more of data, plus I don't think Sony demands a payment for free shit simple cause it has acheivements/trophies tied to them. Talking about Crash Course DLC on L4D as an example.)

Thanks Rekano

Panda, my steam's been acting up for the past couple of days and reading errors.
So I'm currently redownloading it AND TF2. @____@

Also, TF2 is better on PC plain and simple. There's shit (mainly with the Soldier from my experience) that you just can't fucking do with a controller. I can rocket jump straight, but I can't do HALF of the stuff I can do on PC.
