New around here and just wanted to say hi.

The SC Community in gamespot is boring and gamespot is broken for me now, while gametrailers is also broken for me, annnnnd i forget everywhere else where a decent SC Community existed, sooooo decided to finally join up this place from good word of mouth on Facebook. :)

Also my PSN ID = Same as name here feel free to add me for SCIV matches or UMvC3 matches, and of course SCV when it comes out. Hope we all get along, if this place is active that is. o_O

Hi there Leshain. Welcome to the forums! I hate to say it, but perhaps it was fate that you are now a member of our community. Eh? I don't believe much in fate myself, but if I did, this would be epitomical. 8WR is definately active. It is the premiere place for SC information and the owner of the site communicates with Project Soul and the Namco Community Manager to set up special things for our members and also exclusive information regarding SC5. So please hold on to that excitement! You're just in time for the ride.

You should take a look at the SCIV Soul Arena's to get all of the best strats, combos, tricks, frame charts, and ect... for your favorite characters. If the information you see posted doesn't make much sense to you, (i.e. number notations, stance abbreviations and the like) then check out this thread for a video and post that will have you studying your characters stregnths and weaknesses in no time.

Since you mentioned that you play online, you should also check out the Online Mode: PSN/XBL forums for our section dedicated to online play. You can make new friends, set up matches, talk about whatever in that little section. It's like a community within a community so be sure to introduce yourself here as well.

If you're interested in meeting up with local players in or around your area, (and by god, you should) check out the Regional Matchmaking section and also the Tournament Announcements section for possible tournaments and/or discussions on setting one up.

Well that's all I can think of for right now, (I apologise for boring you, but it's my job) but if you have any questions do not hesistate to ask myself or one of the other forums mods and we'll be glad to assist you. Have fun and see you around the forums!

Thanks you all for the warm welcome! ^_^ Glad i finally found a SC Community that isn't bad or not active. So, who's your guys main now (SCII-IV) and will be? (SCV)
SCII: Ivy
SCIII: Ivy & Taki
SCIV: Ivy, Taki, & Cervantes
SCV: Ivy, Natsu, & Cervantes (if he returns)(hopefully)
