Yeah it has lore, but lore doesn't interest me cause it has nothing to do with me or my character.

All I know is: You're dead, except your not. Since I'm not dead I might be the fucking Messiah, but only the fucking Messiah can complete what ever the fuck I'm doing, which involves ringing a bell and jolly cooperation.

Well... it's got some great ass lore then, and amazing gameplay to back it up. I guess skip it, but all I can say is that you're missing out.
 
You're really NOT missing out on anything story wise lol. I mean the best part about the game is the sweet speed runs, meaning any and all lore related situations literally mean nothing.
