kampmann vs condit and torres vs mizugaki were sick fights, 2009 is picking up right where 2008 left off. i predict the next great fight will be frank shamrock vs nick diaz, because almost every frank shamrock fight is a great fight and nick diaz has had some great fights too

as bull shit as that sport is, if you mix it up with the jujitsu and wrestling know-how...

Isn't Stephan Bonnar a Tae Kwon do boy? He hasn't been very successful using that aspect of his skills. Maybe if someone really trains like Machida did to integrat Karate into his fighting style someone could be successful using one of the numerous unused fighting styles out there including Tae Kwon Do.

I've seen some folks claiming TKD do well in the smaller promotions. Last one I saw won by pulling guard into guillotine choke on a BJJ black belt (who tapped before they even hit the ground) which was pretty funny. Especially after he spent the bulk of the round carrying the BJJ guy around on his back defending against RNC attempts.
