The Movie Thread

I have to say that the new bond movie gets a 4 / 10 from me.

I walked in expecting espionage and witty banter and all I received was EXXXXPPLLLLOOOSSISIIOOONNNSSS!!!!!!.

If this was just titled EXPLOSIONS then I'd be pleased, however I was looking for a Bond movie and this did not deliver. Poor story, reliance on past movies for backstory, and shallow character development are just a handful of my complaints about this movie.

...and to use the universal scale my friends and I have, "I would...":

Everyone has to watch REC. It's a spanish horror movie. There's a Hollywood remake, but those are (in most cases) instant fails and so is that one.

You guys better watch it!
 
Sukiyaki Western just came out on Bluray. It's a japanese cowboy spagetti western, filmed with all native japanese actors forced to speak engrish the whole movie. It's just as cheesy and bad as you thought it would be, more entertaining if you watch it with a group of ppl...

I just watched it with a group of people. Thought it was fairly entertaining. Wish there were more fights though
 
Transporter 3, Watchmen, and the Spirit is what im waiting for.

Saw V was some BS ending.
RocknRolla was funny and less actiony than i thought. (Think Usual Suspects except with british people)
