THE Halo Thread

I never met a Halo I didn't like. It's been so long since I've played 1 with people though, I bet it's completely different from what I remember.

EDIT: This is a bold faced lie. Halo 3 is one of the worst appointment's I've ever encountered.

hipster? son, I don't fucking think so. This is THE Halo thread, so I'd be safe to say that includes Halo(xbox and Pc), Halo 2(Xbox and windows live), Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Waypoint, Halo Reach, The books, parodies, action figures, etc...eh, you get it. There are people who like the series and others who like a singular game from it. Anyways...

Halo 4...well, Not all too much known about 4 though. Although I will say it will be interesting to see what 343 Industries brings to the table, on both the Multiplayer and Campaign front. And its been a while since we've had an actual adventure with Chief and Cortana. And I'm interested to see what you'll be fighting this time.
 
Halo 1 was the only good Halo game... Yes, people say "pistol is broke", but the pistol wasn't what made the game good (although, I would argue that the pistol was balanced because everyone started with it). Halo 1 was good because of it's engine, it had the right feel for gravity, as well as the flow and acceleration of turning. The Halo 1 remake had me excited... until I heard that the multiplayer is just Halo Reach multiplayer, with Halo 1 levels... which immediately doesn't make me care anymore. I want the Halo 1 engine in my multiplayer, not the Halo Reach engine.
